Social Media

Innovative, original, intentional. These are the words that can describe what I create for social media. Trends come and go everyday, it is the job as a social media professional to stay up to date and be ahead of the trends before they become popular. Throughout my time working in social media, there have been countless organic content created that have engaged in high quality entertainment for fans as seen below.

Valentine’s Day

As Cincinnati Reds players arrive for practice, I handed our guys some notes wishing them a Happy Valentine’s Day. This showed a little more personality from Reds players to their fans. This video also builds a better relationship between the social media staff and the players to start the season.

Sibling Quiz with the Diaz Brothers

During the 2022 season, Cincinnati Reds pitcher Alexis Diaz faced off for the first time ever against his brother, New York Mets pitcher Edwin Diaz. Coordinating with the New York Mets, I was able to create this video for TikTok so fans can get to know the brothers for the first time together.

Elly De La Cruz, All Star Announcement

During the 2024, Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz finds out he has made it to his first all star game. Working with the manager of the Cincinnati Reds and the media relations department, I was able to film De La Cruz’s announcement in front of the whole team. This gave an exclusive inside look for fans who rarely get to see what happens behind the scenes in clubhouse.

The Office Skit with Joey Votto

During photo day, Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto worked with myself and the social media team to recreate a skit from The Office. As Joey Votto started his social media presence in 2023, I along with the rest of the social media team, were essential in creating videos like this for Votto’s personal social media accounts.
